The MG728 is a WEAVEMECH airjet loom for weaving cotton gauze base fabric. It uses compressed air for weft insertion. Review yarn specifications, warp and weft densities and required fabric width before selecting the machine configuration.

Gauze fabric and end products
Gauze can be collected using a large external cloth take-up unit. Confirm the required roll format and whether the fabric specification refers to greige or finished gauze.
Gauze fabric is cut and folded in a separate converting process. Folded ply count describes the construction of the finished pad, not the fabric's weave structure.
Gauze is slit and rewound into the required bandage format. Finished bandage width is not the same as the loom's reed width.

The MG728 weaves cotton gauze base fabric. Finishing, converting and packaging are separate stages. Products supplied sterile also need validated sterilization and the relevant quality controls; weaving alone does not establish sterility.
